I’m Semi, a Korean photographer based in Paris. People often say “I love photography” — but for me, it’s not something you claim, it’s something you keep working on, every day. I believe my real talent isn’t just taking pictures — it’s the ability to look at people with genuine warmth, and capture what I feel, not just what I see.

My Approach: Connection First

Every great photo starts with a connection. Some happen instantly, others take a few minutes of conversation — but I always try to find it before I raise my camera. That’s why, before your session, we’ll talk about your story, your trip, and what you’re hoping to capture.

My goal is simple: when you look at your photos, I want you to feel the energy and the emotions of that moment — not just see a nice picture, but remember how it felt. Even a single photo of a couple holding hands should carry their whole story.
